On July 30th 2025, Apostle Ignatius Chi Nche accompanied Priest Cyprian officially carried out the handover of the completed poultry house with ready to lay fowls and a complete constructed four cubicles latrine and installation of sanitary fitting constructed and donated by the New Apostolic Church to the Luc Menorah Orphanage Bamenda.
The event started with a Divine Service officiated by Apostle Ignatius Chi Nche that brought people from diverse religious backgrounds (Christians and Muslims) together. After the Divine service, the Apostle dedicated and handover the complete constructed poultry and the latrine to the Orphanage. The handover ceremony was also graced by the presence of the delegate for social affairs of NW region who handed over to Apostle Chi an appreciation letter in recognition for this positive donation which will greatly improve the economic growth and development of the amazing residents of the Orphanage.
Donation of food items
The Orphanage also received from the New Apostolic church feed for the ready to lay fowls and some food items like rice, flour, salt, tins of palm oil, beans, milk, sugar and maize.
Technical and financial support
The technical aspect is insured by Professor Dr. Joachim Müller from the Hohenheim University, Southern Germany, the realization was done by local constructors.
Financing of the project
The project is financed by HUMANAKIV, the relief organization of the New Apostolic Church, and the Chief of Centre of the Orphanage who also contributed to the success of the projects.
Summary
There is joy and gratitude in the Orphanage because they now have good toilets separated between male and female and a poultry house with ready to lay fowls which is a plus in the agricultural sector of the Orphanage. What a joyful gift!
