Bamenda Youth welcome Lead Apostle Oscar K. Nwanza
26 August 2025

Visit to Bamenda, August 16th and 17th

The visit to the Bamenda district marked the conclusion of Lead Apostle Oscar Nwanza's first visit to Apostle Chi Nche's work area.

During the meeting with the ministers and their wives preceding the next day's divine service, Lead Apostle Nwanza provided helpful advice based on the words of Luke 18:29-30. The key message of this meeting was: "God gives us more than we ask for." Participants were encouraged not to complain too much, for God already knows our worries, but rather to denounce anything that hinders us from following Jesus Christ: "Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to us."

The next day's divine service, based on the biblical words of Habakkuk 2:20, was like a call to all believers to remain silent before the Lord who is in His holy temple! The leading apostle recalled a saying: "We do not only speak verbally, but also with our thoughts." Let us therefore examine our thoughts in the presence of God.

During this divine service, three souls were sealed. Two sisters were ordained deaconesses (one for the Batibo congregation and one for the Ntanche congregation, both in the Bamenda district), a deacon was ordained a priest for the Bamenda-Ntarikon congregation, a priest was appointed rector of the Bamenda district, and another was assigned his deputy.

This final divine service concluded five blessed days, bringing special encouragement and joy to the work area of Apostle Ignatius Chi Nche.
