Sunday the 15th of June 2025 brought together traditional heads, representatives of elites abroad and the entire church community of Ajei in Batibo Sub-Division of Momo Division in the North West region of Cameroon. Joyful occasion for this special gathering was the inauguration and handover ceremony of the water supply at Ajei.
Ajei, situated about 3 km from Mbuji, is a small community with a population of about 500 people, mostly farmers.
Technical and financial support of the project
The technical aspect is insured by Professor Dr Joachim Müller of the University Hohenheim, Germany, as well as the professional management team of CARD, a local NGO. The follow up of the water supply project in Ajei is in continuation of similar projects in other areas still supported by Lead Apostle Volker Kühnle (retired). Its success is the fruit of the conjugated efforts of the New Apostolic Church and the entire population of Ajei. The project is financed by Humanaktiv, the relief organization of the New Apostolic Church South Germany. Newapostolic brothers and sisters in Southern Germany support by this organization humanitarian projects in Africa. The beneficiary population contributed to this project, too.
Joyful inauguration
All villagers were present, when the locally responsible Apostle Ignatius Chi and the traditional heads were cutting the ribbon to the new well. What a joy! There is now fresh and clean drinking water in the village! All attendants were very grateful to all the sponsors.
