Saturday, March 8, was dedicated to a meeting between the new lead Apostle Oscar Nwanza and Apostle Félicien Ebanga Edoa as well as the leading ministers of the New Apostolic Church in Cameroon.
For this purpose, all the district ministers of the Francophonie travelled to the Church's administrative headquarters in Yaoundé. The district ministers of the two English-speaking regions of the Northwest and Southwest also made the long journey, together with their Apostle Ignatius Nche Chi.
Strengthening and encouraging the leading body of the church
The spiritual focus of this meeting was an excerpt from 1 Timothy 4:2-3, which speaks of developing in each person the spirit of discernment to distinguish truth from the lies of the "prophets" of evil. In addition to other items on the agenda, an analysis of the current situation in the congregations was discussed, including financial offerings. The lead Apostle asked each district leader to raise awareness in the congregations to improve the currently unsatisfactory situation. As key words on "take away and implement," the lead Apostle mentioned: "Faith, commitment to the apostleship, and observance of the Church's rules."
Visit to the choir rehearsal
After the meeting with the district leaders, the International Women's Day on Saturday, March 8, concluded with a visit by lead Apostle Nwanza, accompanied by the two local Apostles Félicien Ebanga Edoa and Ignatius Nche Chi, as well as all the district ministers, to the rehearsal of the Yaoundé 1 district choir. This meeting also aroused gratitude and joy among all participants, as well as admiration for the musical performances, and was an excellent preparation for Sunday.
