The sacraments in the life of the Christian aim at the main objective which is eternal communion with the heavenly Father.
On February 23, 2025, the community of Ékounou-Yaoundé experienced a particular effervescence with the three recipients of the sacred act at the Holy Baptism of water. Indeed, under a participation of about a hundred members, three candidates for Baptism (two babies and a child) received through the hands of the district rector, the district evangelist Ateba Edoa Léandre Fabien, their first fundamental grace to become members of the body of Christ and consequently members of the Church of Christ (John 3:5).

Water Baptism: The fundamental grace
Children are gifts from God and a fundamental element in assessing the demographic growth of the church. To this end, through the act of Holy Baptism, the goal is the salvation of humanity. It washes man from original sin so that he can be integrated as a member of the body of Christ and a full member of the church of Christ.
