Sunday 19 May 2024, Pentecost Day, was a day of particular joy in the Yaoundé1 district. Indeed, the divine service of bringing together the communities making up this district on Pentecost Day enabled a perfect symbiosis with our apostle Ebanga Edoa Félicien at the host community of Ekounou.
This special celebration included not only the anniversary of the 22 years of apostolate of our apostle Félicien, but also a divine service rich in substance, sound and colour, with melodies well performed by the district choir. The excerpt from the biblical text 1 Cor 3:16 plunged us into the notion of "man as the temple of God", with more than 250 souls taking part.

At the end of the divine service, the district choir gave a mini-concert. At the end of the concert, a community meal was prepared by members of the various communities in the district.

A date was set for Pentecost 2025.
